Referrals I just wanted to let you all know what a wonderful school and what wonderful teachers and students you all have. Connor went to school at Bering for 3 years. It was the best school ever. The teachers are so caring and experienced that I could not believe everything Connor had learned. He would say something that would totally blow me away and when I asked him where he learned that he said school (of course Bering Drive Christian School). And for all those moms who are heading back to the workforce after being home with you child this is the best place for your children. I had to go back to work when Connor turned 3 we had never been apart for very long and I was so scared. The first day I was a nervous wreck but not Connor he felt so safe and loved he never cried once AND whenever I came to pick him up at the end of the day he would get this look of disappointment and moan because he did not want to come home, he wanted to be the last one there! I have been a first grade teacher for 3 years and I could not have taught Connor all the things that Bering has taught him. The teachers and school prepared him so well that he is in at River Oaks Elementary in the Vanguard Program. He is a well-rounded boy emotionally, physically, and spiritually and A LOT of that has to do with Bering Drive Christian School and the teachers and staff. We miss Bering very much and Connor talks about his friends from Bering often. I chose Bering because when I came to look at the school the director and secretary took time to show me around and explain their philosophy. It was also the only place that gave me a guide to what they do week by week in the classroom! I am now a stay at home mom again, I have a one year old, and I am looking forward for the day he turns two so he can enjoy the same great experience as his older brother. Bering Drive is about 20 minutes from my house but it was worth every minute of the drive to see my child thrive and grow into a wonderful, sweet individual. At our house we still use Bering's philosophy on discipline, talking about good choices and bad choices. I enjoyed Bering Drive Christian School as much as my son did and I can't wait to enjoy it again! Thank you for everything! Kristy Due to convenient location, I was able to have my son as my car-pool buddy for two years on the Katy HOV lane. Personal time with my son increased by 1.5-2 hours daily. We talked about his upcoming day and on the way home, he told me about everything he did during his day at school. This bright little boy became very verbal. He wanted to tell about his discoveries. Today, he is a straight A student. I credit Bering Drive Christian School for giving him an excellent foundation for his education. Kim I want you to know that Hunter has received a sticker EVERY day this year on his conduct sheet!!! That's because he went to Bering! He is also reading at level 14 (out of 16). Again, I know that is BECAUSE HE WENT TO BERING!!!! He had a speaking part in the K program last month that was put on by 154 kindergartners. He was one of about 20 kids with speaking parts and they were all on the front row. He was chosen for being confident and articulate. And you know that's because he WENT TO BERING!! His teacher tells me that she wishes all of her students were like Hunter. She loves having him in her class. I told her, it's BECAUSE HE WENT TO BERING!! Linda After endless
hours of online researching and comparing preschools in the area and many days
of asking for recommendations from friends and family, I asked a colleague at
work who lives near our office which preschool she had sent her son to before he
started Kindergarten. She told me about Bering Drive Christian School (BDCS)
and how wonderful it was for her son. After meeting the teachers and touring
the school, I decided to send my daughter, Fifi, to BDCS now that she had turned
4 and was very bored being babysat by her grandma; too much TV and not enough
learning. It was the best thing I have ever done for her! After only 1
semester in the 3-year-old class and the full year in the 4-year-old class, she
learned so much more than my husband and I could imagine or hope for. Not only
did she learn so much academically, she was taught to take good care of herself,
to have good manners, and to distinguish between good and bad (at home, we
adapted the "good choice"/"bad choice" concept from BDCS and love it). Fifi has
grown to be a very thoughtful and confident child and is more than ready for
Kindergarten. We now regret not sending her to BDCS sooner, and not having her
enrolled full-time from the beginning (she was enrolled part-time through the
spring and summer semesters before moving on to Pre-Kindergarten). Once again, we adore BDCS! Pauline & Trung
